Mountainside Medical Equipment Presents Mountain Ice at Utica College Health Information Fair
A crowd of over 50 allied health students attended Utica College’s 2019 Health Information Fair, and Mountainside Medical Equipment representatives were there to provide informational materials, answer questions, and give live demonstrations on how to use the topical pain-relieving gel, Mountain Ice. Mountainside Medical Equipment was one of over a dozen local organizations in attendance at the Health Information Fair, which took place on October 20, 2019 at Utica College’s Romano Hall. Representatives from local healthcare centers, service organizations, and medical suppliers demonstrated products to students and others in attendance.
Utica College students, alumni, and faculty were all part of the school’s allied health professional departments, representing fields as diverse as physical therapy, occupational therapy, and nursing. The Health Information Fair was designed to introduce students firsthand to a broad spectrum of roles and technologies available in the health care industry.
“This was a great opportunity for us to debut Mountain Ice to the next generation of medical professionals,” says Martin Zarnock Jr., Vice President of Mountainside Medical Equipment and creator of Mountain Ice. “There’s nothing more important to the introduction of a new medical product than total transparency and product awareness among medical professionals of its benefits, uses and application instructions.”
